MSSQL Server

Description

The MSSQL Server plugin lets you manage databases, login users, and SQL Agent jobs on your Microsoft SQL Server instance. It supports creating databases, managing data files and log files, shrinking databases and files, creating and deleting login users, resetting passwords, unlocking users, assigning server roles, and starting and stopping SQL Agent jobs. Use this plugin when your workflows need to automate SQL Server administration tasks like database maintenance, user management, or job scheduling.

Prerequisites:

1. SQL Server instance/port number and access details.
2. SQL Server Browser windows service must be enabled on remote machine.
3. In releases prior to release 3.6, you must add mssql-jdbc-7.0.0.jre8.jar in the lib folder of Process Studio Distribution and AutomationEdge Agent, as the file is unavailable. However, from release 3.6 onwards the file is already present in the lib folder of Process Studio Distribution and AutomationEdge Agent, so do not add any other file to the folder.
